Volunteers Needed – Littleton and Harestock Show, Saturday 6th September 2025

The Littleton and Harestock Show will be held this year on Saturday 6th September 2025, from midday to 5pm.

Thank you for your support in previous years!  As a valued past volunteer, we hope you might be able to lend a hand again this September. The show simply wouldn’t be possible without the time and generosity of people like you.

If you can spare a few hours on the day, we’d be incredibly grateful. As a token of our thanks, volunteers will receive a complimentary entry ticket, available for collection during the week before the show.

Feel free to share this opportunity with any friends or family who might also be interested in helping out.  If you're able to support us, please get in touch at helpers.lhshow@gmail.com.

If you no longer wish to receive emails about volunteering on show day, just let us know at the same address and we’ll remove you from our list.

Thank you once again – we hope to see you in September!

Warm regards,
Ginny and Lisa

MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

As you will know, if you were able to come on Saturday, September 2nd, it was a gloriously sunny day, just perfect for a traditional English village show. The event was very well attended and everyone seemed to be having a really good time, with live entertainment, interesting exhibitions to see, food and drink to suit all tastes and fun and games for all.

I would like to offer my most sincere thanks to the many volunteers who helped make the show possible - the helpers on the day who staffed the gates and operated the games stalls, the teams of volunteers who organised the refreshments, the large stalls such as the Tombola, Raffle, Bookstall and Bric-a-Brac, the Scouts who managed the parking, and of course, the committee who have been working on the plans for the show all year.

There is great news from one, unsung team – the finance team who count the money, locked away in the Pavilion all day. We had an exceptionally good year financially and I am very pleased to announce that the show made a profit of £6,500 which will be donated to three local good causes - Winchester and District Young Carers, Barnies Kitchen and the Harestock Primary School garden project.

Congratulations to everyone who helped to achieve this fantastic result and I look forward to seeing you again at next year’s show.
